In Roman times, a small wheat cake was broken over the bride’s head for good luck and to ensure the couple’s fertility. While we have thankfully moved away from that tradition, the wedding cake remains an important part of the wedding celebration. Today, the wedding cake takes center stage when the bride and groom cut the wedding cake and then feed each other tidbits of cake.

Because the wedding cake is such a focal point of every wedding celebration, we believe that the cake should reflect the couples taste and personalities.
